Dissemination

UPWARDS will reach a wider scientific community by sharing its results through publications and conferences, web portals and open release of the data products obtained. Higher-level data, which usually are not available to the PSA archive, will be created and disseminated. UPWARDS will make use of the existing Archive systems set up within European countries, including the ESA PSA and CROSSDRIVE.

All publications created within UPWARDS will be accessible to the wider scientific community through the use of Open access journals (Gold Open Access) and/or through the dissemination at Institute level (Green Open Access). A list of journals of interest to UPWARDS, with high impact and a suitable open access policy include: Nature, Science, Nature Geoscience, Astrophysical Journal, Atmospheric Chemistry Physics, Astronomy & Astrophysics, Earth & Planetary Science Letters, Atmospheric Measurement Techniques, and Icarus, among others. All publications will be freely obtainable via the UPWARDS web site.
