Giancarlo Bellucci Giancarlo Bellucci
Senior researcher at Planetary division of INAF-IAPS
Work Packages:
  Mini CV
Dr. Giancarlo Bellucci is senior researcher at Planetary division of INAF-IAPS and supervises research projects of the team. He received his degree in Physics in 1986 from the Università La Sapienza of Rome. He is CoI on several space missions (OMEGA/Mars Express, VIRTIS/Rosetta, VIMS/Cassini) and co-PI on future NOMAD instrument, the only European instrument on board the ExoMars Trace Gas orbiter 2016. His main scientific expertise lies in the development of VIS -IR instruments, spectroscopy used by such instruments, and the radiative transfer modelling.

He is responsible for the scientific validation of the deliverables, for the temporal execution of the tasks and for the elaboration of progress and final reports.

Marco Giurana Marco Giurana
Research scientist for the Instituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the INAF
Work Packages: WP5
  Mini CV
Dr. Marco Giuranna is a research scientist for the Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the Istituto Nazionale di AstroFisica (INAF) in Rome, where his work will be conducted, with the exception of participation in team meetings, as needed. He is the PI of PFS/MEx and supervises research projects of the team.
He is co-I on the future NOMAD/ExoMars experiment, and is WP leader in the already running FP7 CROSSDRIVE project (607177). His main scientific research activities deal with planetary atmospheres and VIS-IR data and instruments. He has extensive experience working with Martian data sets.

He is responsible for WP5, scientific validation of deliverables, and for the timely execution of the tasks.
Francesca Altieri Dr. Francesca Altieri
Research scientist for the Instituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the INAF
Work Packages: WP3

  Mini CV
Dr. Francesca Altieri is a research scientist for the Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the Istituto Nazionale di AstroFisica (INAF) in Rome. She received her degree in Astronomy in 1999 from Bologna University and PhD in 2005 form Lecce University. She is co-I of OMEGA/MEx, NOMAD/ExoMars TGO, ACS/ExoMars TGO, MAJGIS/JIUCE and MA_MISS /ExoMars 2018 experiments. She is involved in the already running FP7 CROSSDRIVE project (607177). She has scientific interest in the study of solar system’s objects through imaging spectroscopy and has expertise in Martian surface (soil and ices) and atmosphere (gaseous and aerosols) composition by working with Martian data sets.

She is responsible for WP3, scientific validation of deliverables, and for the timely execution of the tasks.
Anna Geminale Anna Geminale
Postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the INAF
Work Packages: WP5
  Mini CV
Anna Geminale is a postdoctoral researcher in the Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the Istituto Nazionale di AstroFisica (INAF) in Rome. Her research is focused in the Martian atmosphere using the data of the PFS and OMEGA instruments, onboard Mars Express.

She contributes to isolate the signal gotten from the surface of Mars through the OMEGA data. She will also develop tools for the identification of the atmospheric component from the OMEGA data in order to get the reflectance of the surface.
Giuseppe Sindoni Giuseppe Sindoni
Postdoctoral researcher at Instituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the INAF
Work Packages: WP5
  Mini CV
Giusseppe Sindoni is a postdoctoral researcher in the Istituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the Istituto Nazionale di AstroFisica (INAF) in Rome. His experience on Mars began in 2007 when he started to work on minus species on the atmosphere of Mars using the PFS data.

He is providing support to the characterization of the suspended dust in the Martian atmosphere using the OMEGA data from Mars Express.
Davide Grassi Davide Grassi
Postdoctoral researcher at Instituto di Astrofisica e Planetologia Spaziali (IAPS) of the INAF
